An Annual Wellness Visit is a no-cost appointment with a primary care provider to develop a personalized health-care plan based on a patient’s current health and risk factors. The visits focus on disease and disability prevention and meeting the patient’s overall health and well-being needs.
There is no deductible or copayment for an Annual Wellness Visit. If additional tests or treatments beyond the covered preventive services are needed, a copayment or deductible may apply.
