Two new hospitalists join Capstone Hospitalist Group

The Capstone Hospitalist Group, operated by University Medical Center, welcomes two new hospitalists – Dr. Afrin Biswas, who will practice mostly at Northport Medical Center, and Dr. Richard Mosu, who will practice at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Capstone Hospitalist Group was established by University Medical Center in partnership with DCH Health System in Tuscaloosa. Services include in-patient care after Emergency Room visits or doctor referrals, continuity of care with patients’ primary-care physicians, and patient consultation.

Biswas and Mosu both graduated in June from the College of Community Health Sciences’s University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency. CCHS operates UMC.
