Patient Portal Information

The new University Medical Center Patient Portal, which launched April 8, 2024, allows patients to request medication refills and complete forms online, receive reminders to their cell phones and emails, and send secure messages to their providers.


If you are having a medical emergency, call Emergency Medical Services (911) or call your nearest hospital or medical practice. Email and appointment requests made through the Patient Portal will be answered within one business day. You may call our after-hours answering service at (205) 348-1770 if you require urgent assistance.
