Jacquelynn Luker, MD

Dr. Jacquelynn Luker is assistant professor of family, internal, and rural medicine and assistant director for Professionalism and Student Engagement with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program. She also cares for patients at University Medical Center, which is operated by the College. Luker completed her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at The University of Alabama. As a Rural Medical Scholar at UA, she completed her master’s degree in Human Environmental Sciences/Rural Community Health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency training at The University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency, which the College operates. She also completed a geriatrics fellowship at the College. Luker has special interests in rural medicine, geriatrics, end-of-life care and hospice care.
