University Medical Center opened a clinic in Fayette, Ala., in 2021 to provide much needed services in the community for obstetrics, gynecology and prenatal care. Drs. Cheree Melton and William Lenahan care for patients at UMC-Fayette. Providing health-care services in Fayette means that women have more access to gynecological care, and expectant mothers have more access to pre-natal and post-natal doctor visits. The clinic is located at 1716 Temple Avenue North Suite 5 and is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:15am-4:30pm.
