Staffed by caring and trained pediatric doctors, University Medical Center provides comprehensive primary care for newborns and children up to the age of 16. We offer services within the local community and the West Alabama region. We also offer specialized care for premature infants and the evaluation and care of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Services We Provide
Whether you need labs or X-rays, we offer a wide range of diagnostics to help properly treat your child. We also offer urgent and extended care for accidents, injuries and unexpected sickness that can’t wait until our regular office hours. Established patients can take advantage of extended hours and evening appointments. Pediatric services we provide include:

Newborn and Infant Care and General Pediatrics
Pregnant mothers may visit University Medical Center’s Pediatric Clinic to evaluate the services and to establish a physician for a new baby. We perform routine well-child examinations, administer vaccinations and make hospital checks. We can diagnose and treat complex medical conditions. We also offer sports and camp physicals for older children who need certificates to participate in physical activities and school sports.
