Staffed by caring and trained pediatric doctors, University Medical Center provides comprehensive primary care for newborns and children up to the age of 16. We offer services within the local community and the West Alabama region. We also offer specialized care for premature infants and the evaluation and care of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Whether you need labs or X-rays, we offer a wide range of diagnostics to help properly treat your child. We also offer urgent and extended care for accidents, injuries and unexpected sickness that can’t wait until our regular office hours. Pregnant mothers may visit University Medical Center’s Pediatrics Clinic to evaluate the services and to establish a physician for a new baby. We perform routine well-child examinations, administer vaccinations and make hospital checks. We can diagnose and treat complex medical conditions. We also offer sports and camp physicals for older children who need certificates to participate in physical activities and school sports.
