KATELIN LISENBY, PHARMD
Katelin M. Lisenby, PharmD, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the College of Community Health Sciences. Lisenby’s clinical practice is in rural ambulatory care at the Pickens County Family Practice Center in Gordo, AL. In addition to her instructive teaching, scholarship, and service within both Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy and the Department of Family Medicine, Dr. Lisenby precepts both pharmacy students and pharmacy residents at her practice site. She also helps teach pharmacotherapy in the Family Medicine Residency’s academic curriculum at the University Medical Center.
Lisenby earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2013. She then went on to complete an ASHP Accredited Pharmacy Residency at DCH Regional Medical Center in 2014. Following this completion, she joined the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy faculty beginning in the fall of 2014. She is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Her areas of interest are in rural ambulatory care, which specifically includes various cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, infectious disease, and women’s health.
