University Medical Center cares for West Alabama

University Medical Center provides high-quality, patient-centered health care for people of all ages throughout West Alabama.

With clinics in Tuscaloosa, Northport, Demopolis, Fayette, Carrollton and Livingston, UMC, which is operated by The University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences, has expanded its patient and geographic reach well beyond the UA campus and its employees to include residents of West Alabama.

UMC clinics offer services in preventive and wellness care, management of chronic conditions, and treatment for acute illness and accidents. UMC clinics in Tuscaloosa and Northport provide specialty care in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, sports medicine, neurology and geriatrics. UMC clinics in Carrollton, Livingston and Demopolis provide full-spectrum family medicine care and UMC-Demopolis also provides prenatal and obstetrics care. UMC-Fayette provides prenatal care, obstetrics and gynecology.

UMC clinics also have on-site lab, X-ray and ultrasound and provide social work services and nutrition counseling.
